Terms of Service for Kirby’s Paw Palace
Welcome to Kirby’s Paw Palace's terms of service! By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility & Booking
- Client Profile & Vaccinations: All clients must complete a detailed profile for their pet(s) and provide up-to-date vaccination records before any services are rendered.
- Reservations: Bookings should be made in advance and are subject to availability.
2. Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Payment: Full payment is due at the time of drop-off, unless otherwise specified.
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure a booking for holiday weekends.
- Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
- Refunds: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled stay are eligible for a partial refund (deposit forfeited, remaining balance refunded if already paid). Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled stay will forfeit the full payment.
- Late Payment Fee: If payment is not received by the agreed-upon due date, a late fee of $30 per day will be applied to the outstanding balance starting the day after the due date.
3. Health & Safety Requirements
- Flea, Tick & Worm Prevention: All pets must be on a veterinarian-approved flea, tick, and worm prevention program. Proof of recent treatment is required.
- Dogs in Heat: We do not accept female dogs in heat. If a female dog enters heat while boarding, an additional care fee will apply, and the owner must arrange for immediate pick-up.
- Aggressive Behavior: We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet displaying aggressive behavior towards other animals or humans.
4. Services Included at no extra cost
- Premium accommodations, daily exercise, enrichment activities, and personalized care.
5. Emergency Care
- Please indicate on intake form how you would like to handle emergencies. We will try our best to abide by this decision but will take immediate action if you are unable to be reached.
- Owner Responsibility: Owners are responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred during their pet's stay.
6. Owner Responsibilities
- Supplies: Clients must provide all necessary supplies for their pet's care, including food, medications, and any special items.
- Pre-existing Conditions: Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed prior to booking.
7. Liability
- Health Issues: Kirby’s Paw Palace is not liable for any pre-existing conditions or health issues that arise during your pet's stay.
Assumption of Risk: Owners assume all risks associated with boarding their pet.
8. Potty Training and Clean-Up Policy
- Accidents: If your dog is not fully housebroken, please notify us ahead of time. A cleaning fee of $25 will be charged for the first potty-related accident. Additional incidents may incur further charges.
- If a pup has an accident inside a crate, a crate cleaning and bath fee will be added to keep them fresh and comfortable.
9. Agreement
- Acceptance: By booking services with Kirby’s Paw Palace, you agree to these terms and conditions.
